Millions of people are cooking their meals on three stones or on inefficient basic stoves, which take lots more time and fuel than is necessary and the stoves give off harmful smoke and particulates.  People who don’t have much money have to use it to buy more fuel than is necessary, or they have to spend extra time gathering fuel.  There are now stoves available that need half the fuel and reduce the smoke and particulates by over 90%.
